DON MARTINDALE THEATER ARTS/MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP – Canyons Education Foundation

This scholarship has been established for the purpose of supporting a student who
participates and is accomplished in high school theatre arts or music. The award will be $1,500

REQUIREMENTS FOR SCHOLARSHIP CONSIDERATION:

The student must submit a personal history, up to 750 words, including academic/professional goals and accomplishments. The student should include a description of their theatre or music background, participation, and accomplishments in either theatre or music and intent for studies in the future. Please include your future plans for college and where you see yourself five years from now.
Student must be actively involved in the school theatre or music program their senior year.
This includes theatre, choir, band, or orchestra.
The student must be a graduating senior from Alta High School or Corner Canyon High School.
Additional consideration will be given to any student who is pursuing further education in theatre arts, music, or related field.
The student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 over their high school years.
The student plans on attending a four-year or two-year school.
At least one letter of recommendation from person(s) who can attest to your academic and citizenship standing, and your talent and skills.
Check is issued to both the awardee and the school they will be attending
