This scholarship has been established for the purpose of supporting a student who
participates and is accomplished in high school and is pursuing a degree in either
accounting or education.
The award will be $1,000 per semester/ $2,000 total per academic year.
The Mont and Kristine Millerberg Scholarship is renewable for recipient each semester for up to a full 4-year degree, with a maximum of $8,000 per recipient. Renewal is dependent on maintaining 3.0 GPA and still majoring in said department.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SCHOLARSHIP CONSIDERATION:
- Submit a brief personal history, up to 750 words, including academic/professional goals and accomplishments. The student should also include why they desire a degree in accounting or education. Be creative and thorough in your essay.
- The student must be graduating from a Canyons District high school.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- The student plans on attending a four-year school or two-year school pursuing a degree in either accounting or education.
- Submit at least one letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or school administrator.
- Provide a copy of your university or college acceptance letter or email.
